The export of poultry meat from Russia for the year increased by 37.8%

In January-March 2018, poultry production in Russia amounted to 1,192.1 tonnes in slaughter weight (1,622.0 thousand tonnes in live weight), which is 4.0% (by 46.4 thousand tonnes in slaughter weight) exceeds the figures for the same period of 2017.

 

The export of poultry meat from Russia to non-members of the Customs Union increased by 37.8% compared to January-March 2017 and amounted to 33.6 thousand tons, of which 42.4% accounted for Vietnam and 40, 0% to Ukraine (Donetsk and Lugansk regions).

 

Taking into account the data on trade within the Customs Union, the volume of exports was at the level of 41.3 thousand tons (including the Republic of Kazakhstan - 18.5%, 57.6 thousand tons). The volume of exports for the year increased by 33.6% (+10.4 thousand tons).
