Salmonella found in poultry meat

The expert veterinary laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received a sample of poultry meat as part of the production control of enterprises.

 

Experts of the Omsk Reference Center during microbiological tests in the presented sample found pathogenic microorganisms - salmonella. Salmonella is a gram-negative rod-shaped microorganism that can cause salmonellosis, a diarrheal disease in humans.
