Cost limits are established for rail transportation of agricultural products

The Government of Russia has established the marginal costs for the transportation of agricultural and food products by rail using wagons and cisterns.

The cost limit for the transportation of one 40-foot container is 100 000 rubles ($ 1687.06), one 20-foot container - 80 000 rubles ($ 1349.65), for transportation 1 m3 (or 1 ton) in a prefabricated container - 6,000 rubles ($ 101.22). These measures are being taken to increase the number of Russian organizations claiming a subsidy for transportation of agricultural and food products.
