Russia in the current agricultural year intends to maintain its leadership in exporting wheat, and in a few years the country can begin exporting milk and cheese abroad, said Olga Garshina, director of the department for international cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
"We are expanding the supply of grains (for export - ed.) not only to cereals, but we are also moving to the supply of meat products and confectionery products, in the near future it will be milk and, possibly, cheeses," said Garshina, speaking at the Russian-Italian agro-industrial forum Development through Cooperation.
