UGC began accreditation of Siberian granaries

United Grain Company JSC (UGC) started accrediting agricultural producers and linear granaries in Novosibirsk and Omsk regions, from which it is planned to purchase surplus wheat of the fourth grade of the harvest this year.

UGC intends to buy in the regions of the Siberian Federal District up to 250 thousand tons of wheat. It will be exported through the port in Novorossiysk. The company wants to buy grain at a price of 6200 rubles ($ 104.5) per ton. The authorities in turn earlier promised to zero the tariffs for the transportation of grain from remote regions of the country to the ports for export. This year, the federal budget provides for 1 billion rubles ($ 16.86 million), in the draft budget for the next year laid 2 billion rubles ($ 33.71 million).
