Buryat pig breeders in 2019 plan to increase pork deliveries to Mongolia up to 200 tons per month (for comparison: deliveries for the entire last year amounted to about 500 tons). In the future, pork from Buryatia can also be supplied to China. This was told by the director of Vostochno-Sibirsky Pig Farm Vladimir Borovkov.
"I’ll add that China for the supply of meat is still closed, but if the ban is lifted, we are ready to start deliveries there. For now, only chicken exports are allowed, and only about 20 companies from all of Russia are engaged in this," Borovkov said.
