Grains are actively exported from Omsk region

In January-April 2019, 8,262 railcars or 582,000 tons of grain cargo were shipped outside the Omsk region, including for export (5,493 cars or 387,000 tons in January-April 2018).

 

The export volume of food products and agricultural raw materials for 3 months of 2019 amounted to $ 40.8 million (to non-CIS countries - $ 27 million, to the CIS countries - $ 13.8 million).

 

The largest share of exports of agricultural products (79.4% of total exports of agricultural products of the Omsk region) account for such items as:

  • cereals ($ 11.4 million. The main importing countries are Azerbaijan, Turkey, Belarus, Israel, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates),
  • fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin ($ 8.7 million. The main importing countries are China, Lithuania, Kazakhstan),
  • cereal, flour, and starch finished products ($ 4.1 million. Main importing countries: Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan),
  • oilseeds and fruits ($ 8.2 million. The main importing countries: China, Mongolia, Poland, Turkey, Kazakhstan).
