Omsk CCI discussed business issues

October 18, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Omsk region (Omsk MIA) became the venue for the meeting of the acting the head of the Omsk MIA, police colonel Vyacheslav Kryuchkov with representatives of the business community to discuss problematic issues related to pressure on business by the authorities in the interaction of entrepreneurs with the police. The event was attended by the President of the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (member of Omsky Biocluster) Olga Fedulova, heads of police departments, and other participants.

The meeting focused on measures to counter corruption and other problems of the business community in Omsk region. Illegal entrepreneurship in the region, the suppression of offenses in the retail trade of alcohol and tobacco products and other excisable goods, cooperation in order to create conditions for the development of small and medium businesses were also the subject of discussion.

Objective information on problematic issues arising during the interaction of businessmen with the Omsk MIA is necessary for law enforcement officials. The business community, in turn, is interested in participating in the Public Council under the Omsk MIA and cooperation in the implementation of the state migration policy.

The meeting reached a consensus on the need for active interaction. The participants of the event identified the main areas of work and supported the need to sign an agreement between the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Omsk region.
