Omsky Biocluster shares experience with Siberians

October 19, Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko held a meeting with Yury Ladygin, Executive Director of the Altai Regional Fund for Assistance. Colleagues from the Altai Territory got acquainted with Omsk experience in creating an industrial cluster and developing cluster policy.

The head of the Fund, Yury Ladygin, noted the agro-industry sectors of the Altai Territory and Omsk region have many cooperation ties and are very similar in technological areas of its development:

"We study the practice of Siberian regions to create industrial clusters, because the cluster approach of organizing production modules, in our opinion, most meets the needs of the regions in increasing production volumes, coordinated work of such structures and, most importantly, introducing advanced processing products from local agricultural raw materials to the markets of Russia and foreign countries. Along with optimal intracluster cooperation, cluster structures, including interregional ones, make it possible to determine centers of sectoral competencies and save financial resources by distributing production units across regions. We are extremely interested in the Omsky Biocluster successful experience in the complex projects implementation."

The parties agreed to continue work within the framework of interregional cooperation, the formation of elements of cluster interaction of interested industrial enterprises and regional infrastructure institutions.
