Agrochemical Service Center Omsky held a practical lesson for students of OmSAU

Agrochemical Service Center Omsky FSBI has been cooperating with the Omsk State Agrarian University for many years (both are members of Omsky Biocluster) in improving the quality of training future specialists. Recently, another practical lesson of the university students took place.

Students-agrochemists got acquainted with the structure of the Center. The participants of the event considered the issues of organization of in-laboratory work, agrochemical, ecology-toxicological survey of soils, the role and significance of the content of macro and microelements in the soil, and the efficiency of fertilizer use. Students saw in operation the work of the analytical equipment of the Test Center, the methods for determining natural and man-made pollutants in vegetable raw materials, food products, soil and water.

Vladimir Krasnitsky, director of Agrochemical Service Center Omsky FSBI:

"It is very important for students to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. While you are a student, you have the right to make a mistake. But when the specialist is already working, making conclusions on feed, by soil - you need to be a professional. Therefore, of course we are interested in getting students from the university bench to get acquainted with the practice. Such cooperation benefits both the university and the holders of laboratory equipment."
