Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Agrarian Committee Ayrat Khayrulin, when discussing the draft law on the use of agricultural land as collateral for obtaining a mortgage loan, spoke about the immediate prospects for pricing land in Russia.
"The agricultural land in our country today is much cheaper, sometimes tens of times, than in any part of the world - in Europe, in America, anywhere. Land in Russia today is cheaper, even than in Africa," said Ayrat Khayrulin. The most expensive land is in Krasnodar, only because there is formed a large profitability due to the proximity to seaports and a favorable climate. But believe me, within 5-6 years the land in our country will rise in price many times, and we should not allow that such a redistribution will occur, when the agricultural producer really remains without land."
