Leguminous Crops Forum was held in Omsk

July 17-20, within the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) and the 95th anniversary of the experimental field, the II International Forum 'Leguminous Crops - a Developing Direction in Russia' was held in OmSAU.

 

The forum was attended by researchers from leading agrarian universities and breeding institutions in Russia. These are representatives of the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing (Moscow), the Sverdlovsk Research Institute, the Novosibirsk Research Institute, the Krasnoyarsk Research Institute, the Omsk Agricultural Research Center and researchers from abroad (the Republic of Kazakhstan and China).

 

July 19, researchers visited the exposition of the leguminous crops collection of OmSAU (experimental field), where the guests were shown collection, breeding and seed plots. The forum guests noted the high scientific approach to research work in OmSAU, serious results in the selection of beans.
