On July 30, the Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia will hold in the Omsk region a practical session 'Formation and Development of Industrial Technological Parks. State Support Measures'. During the event, it is also planned to sign an agreement between the Association of Clusters and Technology parks of Russia and the Government of the Omsk region represented by the Director of the Association Andrey Shpilenko and the Governor of the region Alexander Burkov.
The agreement will consolidate the intentions of the region and the Association for collaboration in the creation and development of industrial clusters and technology parks; increase of competitiveness, investment attractiveness and development of scientific, technical and innovative potential of the Omsk region; strengthening regional and international relations of the region in the field of industrial cooperation and the implementation of national projects.
During the practical session, the experts of the Association will report in detail on the types of technology parks, their regulatory and legal support; business models, technological infrastructure of technology parks on the example of successfully functioning sites.
The plenary session on the conditions for participation in the competitive selection of technology parks of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia will be a separate part of the event. Experts will tell about the composition of the application; key stages and timing of selection; criteria for technology parks to participate in the competition; method of selection and evaluation of applications. The agenda also includes coverage of topics for the obligations of the region and the management company of the technology park to receive this state support and for the regulatory and legal support of the region's participation in the competition.
The final part will be a discussion session, which will be aimed at discussing the formation of new industrial technology parks in the Omsk region. According to the Association, the development of four technology parks is being worked out in the region.
