Russia is experiencing a shortage of mixed fodders for fish

The Russian-Dutch company De Heus will build a factory in Vladimir region to produce mixed fodders for fish. The new factory will be located one kilometer from the De Heus factory, operating in Lakinsk, for the production of premixes and feed additives for animals. Investments in the project, which is planned to launch as early as next year, will amount to 2bn RUR ($ 29.17m).

 

According to the director general of the company Alexander Matveev, the capacity of the enterprise will reach 50 thousand tons. The main consumers of feed will be the fish-breeding enterprises of Murmansk region and the Caucasus. At the same time, the volume of the Russian market in this direction is estimated at 300,000 tons of mixed fodder, most of Russia now imports from Norway and Finland.
