Harvesting campaign in the Omsk region has begun

Thanks to good weather conditions, the harvesting campaign in the Omsk region is gaining momentum. In total this year it is planned to harvest cereals and legumes on an area of 1,929,000 ha (21,100 ha less than in 2018), industrial crops on an area of 315,500 ha (4,700 ha less than the level of 2018), including: oilseeds - 308,600 ha (5,700 ha less than the level of 2018).

 

Grain was threshed - 214,400 tons, with a yield of 17.3 centners / ha (in 2018, 37,500 tons were threshed, and a yield of 15.7 centners / ha). Threshed winter wheat - 6,200 ha (92.2% of the plan) with a yield of 36.6 centners / ha (in 2018 - 31.8 centners / ha); winter rye - 2 800 ha (62.7% of the plan), yield - 22.4 centners / ha (in 2018 - 21.6 centners / ha). Threshed oilseeds - 2012 ha (0.7% of the plan), 1378 tons with a yield of 6.8 centners / ha. In 2018, farmers did not start threshing oilseeds at the current date.
