February 20, the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (member of Omsky Biocluster) held a meeting with the head of the Novosibirsk representative office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Ms. Park Eun Hee.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing trade and economic relations between the markets of Omsk region and South Korea, holding joint events, as well as implementing mutually beneficial projects.
At present, Korean investors have an increased interest in the Russian market. At the first stage, the demand is monitored, the development of exports of Korean products, further study of the infrastructure and resource base of the regions, as a result, a decision is made to implement a joint investment project in Russia.
Omsk CCI received support by KOTRA in assisting Omsk entrepreneurs in developing cooperation with Korean companies.
