In 2017, the production of frozen bakery products in Russia increased by 17%, compared to 2016, and amounted to 25.5 thousand tons, said Evgeny Akhpashev, director of the Department of Food and Processing Industry of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, referring to Rosstat.
According to Akhpashev, freshly baked bread, made by traditional technologies of local bakeries, is in demand on the market. He called the production of frozen bakery semi-finished products a promising direction, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia informs.
