Novosibirskaya Poultry Farm JSC and PRODO Chikskaya Poultry Farm JSC are the first Novosibirsk companies to receive permission to export poultry meat to China. According to the Rosselkhoznadzor (Novosibirsk regional branch), this fact significantly expands the export potential of the Novosibirsk region.
In total, 30 domestic poultry farms can supply poultry products to China. A veterinary certificate is required for exported frozen poultry meat and by-products. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Patrushev, said that the export of poultry meat from Russia to China could reach 150,000 tons per year.
