The first deliveries of Russian milk to the Chinese market are expected ahead of schedule, which was focused on the summer of this year. This was reported by TASS on Wednesday, Russia's Trade Representative in China, Sergei Inyushin.

"The container [with the first batch of Russian milk] left and goes [to China]. We expect that it will arrive in China in the near future, and then the first package of Russian milk, the delivery of which is organized with the direct participation of the trade mission, will be with the Chinese consumer", Inyushin said. "This historic event is happening right now," he said, but answered the question about the details that he should wait for the arrival of the first batch to the PRC.

According to Inyushin, Chinese consumers are showing great interest in food products from Russia:

"Now the food agenda is very relevant in China. Relevant in terms of the fact that the country is beginning to show a demand for a high-quality, ecological product ... China shows an increased demand for high-quality meat."
