Russian chicken is looking for a way to Japan

The Nikkei business agency announced the intention of the Japanese government to lift restrictions on the import of chicken meat from Russia since 2020, TASS reports. Presumably, the right to export poultry meat will be given to companies in the Tula and Bryansk regions. Inspection of goods will be carried out twice: on the territory of the Russian Federation before shipment and at the Japanese customs upon receipt of the goods.

The agreement defining the terms and conditions for exporting poultry from Russia will be signed on June 28-29 in Osaka during the meeting of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe with Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit. At the same time, Japan is interested in increasing the volume of purchases by Russian importers of beef and the creation of new industries producing sausages for delivery to Japan in the territory of the Russian Federation.
