A large consignment of Russian agricultural equipment is delivered to Mongolia

Russian agricultural machinery manufacturers within the framework of credit lines opened by Vnesheconombank (VEB) to the Development Bank of Mongolia, delivered to this country a large consignment of agro-machines, including dozens of units of modern agricultural machinery.

 

"If in 2017 575 units of agricultural machinery were supplied, which included 19 items, in 2018, 196 units of equipment including 21 items were already delivered. The demand for products of Russian agricultural machine manufacturers in Mongolia allows expanding the sales market from $ 10m in 2017 up to $ 50m in the coming years," said Maxim Vasiliev, the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Mongolia. On the eve he handed the keys to domestic agro-machines to Mongolian farmers.

 

In June of this year, Ulan-Bator became the venue for a large-scale exhibition of Russian specialized machinery and consumer goods Russian-Mongolian Initiative-2018 organized by the Rosspetsmash Association. The event gathered 64 plants producing agricultural and construction machinery, food equipment, and also cars, and played an important role in expanding the supply of their products to Mongolia. The event was attended by enterprises of Omsky Biocluster.
