Omsky Biocluster will take part in the events on the presentation in Omsk of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). The event is organized by the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Omsky Biocluster member) together with the Representative of the Trade Representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation (Omsk Branch). All interested entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the event.
The AIFC was established at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is the only center in the region with a special legal regime that operates in the English law. AIFC has no analogues in the CIS. Participants were granted tax benefits up to 50 years, simplified visa and employment regimes. The protection of the investors and businesses rights is guaranteed by the AIFC Court and the International Arbitration Center. The AIFC Exchange will provide unhindered access to both global and local investors. The Nasdaq New York Stock Exchange, has provided the AIFC Exchange with a high-tech trading platform, and a partnership with the Shanghai Stock Exchange is the basis for the AIFC Exchange's participation in the China One Belt, One Way Initiative.
The event will be held on January 29 in Omsk with the support of the Government of the Omsk Region, with the aim of informing business about the possibility of raising funds for the development of their business. Agenda:
- English law and financial tools: what attracts the business community to the AIFC?
- Which foreign investors operating in the AIFC jurisdiction may be interested in Omsk business (and vice versa)?
- Participant support: what are the benefits of registering with the AIFC?
