The Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Products of Animal and Plant Origin, Fodder and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) for the first half of February received 150 samples, with which 1245 studies were conducted. As a result, laboratory specialists have identified four samples of inappropriate regulatory documentation.
One sample of butter was not tested for moisture content, fat, sterols and fatty acid composition. Phytosterols were found in three samples of cheeses, which indicates the addition of vegetable fats in the manufacture of cheeses.
