On April 25, the Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member) holds the international congress 'Science, Education and Innovation: the Connection of Generations', dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the university status. The main topic of the international congress is the agriculture digitization.
The first part of the congress includes a plenary session of the international conference 'Digital Agriculture of the Region: Main Prospective Directions and System Effects', dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Economic Department of the Omsk State Agrarian University. Rector of the University Oksana Shumakova will report on digitization of agriculture as a catalyst for the development of science and education. First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region Nikolay Drofa will report on the prospects for the development of digital agriculture in the region. Rector of the Humanitarian and Technical Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abilmazhin Ayulov will report on the development of digitalization in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan's economy and the efforts of universities in its implementation. Representatives of the international company 'First Bit' will share their digitalization experience in the agro-industry.
