Omsk region continues to export agricultural raw materials

Omsk region continues to ship grain by rail. In January-March 2019, 6,848 railway cars or 482,000 tons of grain cargo were shipped outside the region, including for export (4,095 wagons or 288,000 tons in January-March 2018).

 

Raw materials exports account for the largest share in the agricultural products export:

cereals (wheat - 12 050 tons, barley - 16 600 tons) - the share of production - 23.1% or $ 5.7 million. The main importing countries: Azerbaijan, Turkey, Belarus, Israel, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebanon;

oilseeds (rapeseed - 4,400 tons, flax seeds - 10,800 tons) - 24.3% or $ 6 million. The main importing countries: China, Mongolia, Poland, Turkey.
