October 25, a meeting of the IASA Working Group on the creation of the concept of the Strategy of the grain market of Siberia was held. The meeting participants supported the proposal made by Omsky Biocluster to include the deep processing of grain crops in the Strategy as one of the defining directions.
According to the participants of the Working Group, such production complexes will act as an effective regulatory mechanism of the grain market, as well as an example of the organization of inter-regional production and technology cases. Participants noted the positive experience of the Logistics & Foreign Economic Transactions Center (member of Omsky Biocluster) in the creation of trade communications with Chinese partners, as well as the Omsk Trade House (Manchuria, China).
Following the meeting, the Working Group will begin to form a strategic model of commodity and export grain flows within the framework of the Siberian Federal District.
