Skolkovo announced the creation of a investment fund for agricultural technology

Skolkovo Ventures (a subsidiary of the Skolkovo Foundation) is planned to manage the investment fund for agricultural technology: biofertilizers and pesticides, innovative food products, feed additives, unmanned equipment, digital technologies in agriculture.

 

This is the first venture fund in Russia, which invests in agricultural technology, reports Skolkovo Ventures in the project presentation. The fund's strategy is to invest in the growth of Russian agro-technology companies in local and international markets, as well as in foreign companies developing business in Russia. The fund size is 3 billion rubles ($ 51.25 million).

 

Skolkovo Venture Investments manages it and Pavel Danilov (the former deputy investment director of the Onexim Group) became the managing partner.
