Grain quality in the Omsk region is stable

As of November 20, 2019, the Omsk branch of the Grain Quality Assessment Center FSBI examined 1,084,000 tons, or 49% of the gross production of soft wheat.

 

According to the results of studies of wheat grade 3 revealed 33%, grade 4 - 42%, grade 5 - 25% of the examined grain. For comparison with the previous year: with a similar volume of studies, wheat of the 3rd grade revealed 5% more, wheat of the 4th and 5th grades 3 and 2% less, respectively. The examined barley volume amounted to 320,000 tons (49% of the gross harvest), according to the results, barley of the 1st grade - 34%, 2nd grade - 66%. At the same time, the level of last year showed a decrease in the volume of barley of class 1 by 3%, respectively, the volume of barley in class 2 increased by 3%.
