In February, the Institute of Additional Professional Education of the Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) completed the training of a group of heads of agricultural companies of Omsk region for an additional professional development program 'Improving the Effectiveness of Management in the Conditions of Market Development.'
The participants of the event considered the state and ways of development of the Omsk agroindustry, the prospects of livestock development in the region, the economic efficiency of agricultural enterprises and methods of state support, technological problems of modern crop production, legal regulation of agricultural companies, business planning errors in obtaining state support and lending, use of agricultural lands, problems of biowaste disposal in the region, etc.
The audience was addressed by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region Maxim Chekusov, employees of the Ministry and Rosselkhoznadzor, lawyers, representatives of Omskstat, RusAg (Omsk branch is a member of Omsky Biocluster), researchers, university teachers, leaders of the leading farms in the region.
Also, the program participants visited the farm in Solyanoye village. The head of Solyanoe Сompany Victor Belevkin very interestingly told about his farm, showing achievements in the field of production of livestock products.
