At the beginning of 2019, grain processing companies began to warn about rising prices for their products against the background of a rise in prices for raw materials. According to the executive director of Rusprodsoyuz, Dmitry Vostrikov, the most vulnerable in retail are products in which raw materials account for the bulk of production costs (bakery products - about 30%, flour confectionery - up to 50%, macaroni - up to 80%). However, according to Dmitry Vostrikov, many companies this season have already compensated for the rise in prices for raw materials.
