Kazakhstan will increase the export of pork to the markets of China and Russia

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Agriculture Minister Umirzak Shukeyev spoke about new mechanisms and programs for the development of dairy cattle breeding and pig production in the republic during the meeting on the agro-industry held in the North Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

The program for the development of dairy farming is focused on import substitution. The government provides concessional lending at 4% per annum with a maturity of up to 15 years, measures to support subsidies for investment and interest rates on loans and leasing.

 

The pig development program will focus on the development of meat exports to the markets of China and the Russian Federation, including an increase in exports of processed agricultural products by at least 2.5 times.
