Rusagro will provide the needs of the Far East with meat

Rusagro is ready to increase pork production in the Far East by 2 million tons per year for three years, Vadim Moshkovich, chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, told a session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

 

Rusagro plans to launch in the Far East this fall three pig farms with a capacity of 70 thousand heads each. "Recently, the president set the task of doubling exports, only the Asian region can easily consume 10 million tons of meat, and this task can be solved in three years, we are ready to build farms for 2 million tons of meat in a three-year cycle. There are no problems, the level of state support is ideal," said Vadim Moshkovich.
