Omsky Biocluster expands international cooperation. The adviser of the Ambassador of the French Republic in the Russian Federation on Agriculture in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan Katia ROINET within the 'Opinion' column told our readers about clusters and government support.
Katia ROINET noted that a certain analogue of Russian clusters can be considered the Competitiveness Centers in France, which are a group of enterprises, mostly small businesses, located in the same region and working in the same industry. The Center also includes research and educational institutions. The French government stimulates the agricultural sector to export, technologies and equipment, or agro-food products. There are no subsidies for exports; moreover, this is not possible within the WTO.
