Rosagroleasing signed an agreement with the Ministry of Industry of Belarus, according to which Russian farmers will have the opportunity to purchase Belarusian equipment in preferential leasing.
"The industry is experiencing an acute shortage of low-power tractors, the need for such equipment, according to our estimates, is about 4,000 units. The signed agreement will accelerate the process of updating the fleet and help to eliminate the deficit in this segment," the company’s Director General Pavel Kosov said in a statement.
As noted, Rosagroleasing developed special conditions for the acquisition of new Belarusian-made equipment by Russian farmers. The terms of the special program provide for preferential financing, taking into account subsidies and preferential prices for purchases from plants with a leasing term of up to 5 years. "We are trying to respond sensitively to the needs of the country's farmers in different equipment. Now, thanks to the special preferential leasing program, the most popular equipment produced in Belarus has become even more accessible to Russian farmers," Kosov explained.
The program is designed for enterprises engaged in the production, procurement, transportation, storage, processing and sale of agricultural products, the production and sale of food products, the provision of agricultural production (mineral fertilizers, chemicals), fisheries, fish farming and the fish processing industry, and the provision of agricultural services. The company added that in 2019, machinery and equipment worth RUR 20 billion ($ 303.39 million) are at various stages of supply, and Rosagroleasing continues to increase supplies as part of the implementation of preferential programs.
