On September 22-23 a working visit of the Omsky Biocluster to the Government of the Kurgan region took place. Working meetings were held with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kurgan Region Vladimir Arkhipov, heads of departments, municipalities and development institutions, universities. The visit took place at the invitation of the Government of the Kurgan region.
During the visit, a presentation of the investment potential of the Kurgan region, including a system of state support measures for holders of investment projects, took place.
The Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko:
"The central case of the discussion was a project on deep processing of grain crops. We observe a clear interest of the Government of the Kurgan region in the investment project, a substantive dialogue took place with the interested departments and energy supply organizations. Omsky Biocluster specialists examined the proposed sites, a conclusion is being prepared on their compliance with the parameters of the investment project. The parties showed joint interest in several more business areas of the collaboration. Also, joint events are planned to exchange experience in the field of commercialization of startups, environmental education and green industries."
