The Ministry of Finance is ready to increase support for the production of agricultural machinery by 8B RUR ($ 121.92M) in 2018. This was announced on Wednesday by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, speaking in the State Duma on the first reading of the budget bill, reports agrovesti.net.
The Minister said that the budget for next year already provides for the allocation of 2B RUR ($ 30.48M) to support the production of agricultural machinery. According to Siluanov, before, “there was more” - 15B RUR ($ 228.6M), but funds were allocated as an anti-crisis tool. He noted that the Ministry of Finance is ready for the second reading of the bill on the federal budget to increase this amount. According to the proposals of the Ministry of Agriculture, this increase could reach 8B RUR ($ 121.92M)," said Siluanov.
