The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reported that over 10 months of 2018, Russia increased pork production by 9.7%.
Production of pigs for slaughter in live weight in the agricultural companies of Russia amounted to 3.33 million tons, which is 9.7% higher than the same period of 2017. The main increase in the production of pigs for slaughter was provided by agricultural producers of Voronezh, Kursk, Belgorod, Pskov and Tomsk regions.
