Donbiotech: Is bankruptcy canceled?

Energia Yuga LLC appealed to the Rostov region Arbitration Court with a petition to refuse from the application for Donskye Biotechnologii LLC (Donbiotech) declaring bankruptcy. As the plaintiff explained, the debts to him were paid. The petition is satisfied by the court.

Energia Yuga supplied to Donbiotech equipment with a total value of 109M RUR ($ 1.58M), but received only 69.6M RUR ($ 1.01M). The amount of claims was 45.2M RUR ($ 0.65M). Donbiotech is implementing a project to create a complex for the deep processing of grain and the production of an amino acid in Volgodonsk (Rostov region). Shares in the company's share capital are owned by businessman Vadim Varshavsky, who is the initiator of the project.

The commissioning dates shifted several times, initially it was planned to be commissioned in 2016, but later, due to the increase in the cost of imported equipment, costs increased by 15B RUR ($ 217.31M), and the launch was postponed to the end of 2017, later - to 2018. As of August of this year, about 12B RUR ($ 173.84) have been invested in the construction. The project involves the creation of lysine production in the amount of 85K tons per year during the processing of 250K tons of grain. The complex will also produce 25K  tons of gluten and up to 100K tons of feed.
