In January-November, the agricultural organizations of the Russian Federation produced 3.68M tons of pigs for slaughter (live weight). This is 9.3% or 313.9K tons higher than last year’s figure for 11 months.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the main increase was provided by Voronezh region - 91.4K tons. It is followed by Belgorod region (38K tons), Kursk region (35.7K tons), Pskov region (32.1K tons) and Tomsk regions (21.8K tons).
