On May 13 - 17, the 4th working meeting of the European Union project 'Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility' was held at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal), which brought together 35 representatives from the Eastern Partnership countries, Central Asia and the Russian Federation. Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member) also took part in the event.
The Omsk State Agrarian University at this event was represented by the translator of the International Relations Department, the coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program, Nadezhda Romanova.
The main objective of the International Credit Mobility project is to strengthen the existing collaboration between the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and higher education institutions of countries outside the European Union. In particular, maintaining student mobility within the double degree program and staff development based on European countries' best practices in higher education, as well as improving the management and functioning of partner universities in international relations.
The agenda included, among other things, a discussion of the results and future prospects for the implementation of the double degree program, features of the European system of transfer and accumulation of credit units, ways of organizing mobility and ECTS re-counting process, the international activities of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and its strategic development goals. Employees of international departments of European universities presented online tools to regulate the mobility of students.
