At its meeting on December 26, the Russian government approved the allocation of subsidies to support a number of areas of the agro-industrial complex for a total of 79 billion rubles ($ 1.37 billion).
15.55 billion rubles ($ 269.34 million) from the federal budget of the Russian Federation and 280.4 million rubles ($ 4.86 million) from the Reserve Fund of the Government of the Russian Federation will be allocated to co-finance the regional expenditure obligations associated with the reimbursement of costs for the creation and modernization of agricultural facilities, as well as the purchase of machinery and equipment.
59.55 billion rubles ($ 1.03 billion) budgetary funds and 3.69 billion rubles ($ 63.91 million) from the Reserve Fund are allocated for co-financing of regional expenditure obligations related to the reimbursement of a part of the interest rate on investment loans in the agro-industrial complex.
