December 26, the Director General of the Agency for Infrastructure Development of Tyumen region, Andrei Sanosyan, informed the journalists that the state investments in the infrastructure of the first agroindustrial park in Tyumen region may amount to about 70 million rubles.
"The investments scope in the near future will begin to go to this park from the side of the Government of Tyumen region. We have a park concept, the land plot is managed by the Agency for Infrastructure Development, now we will begin preparing design estimates, then we will begin construction and installation works. The lack of project documentation makes it difficult to understand the scope of regional investments. Our estimate so far is about 70 million rubles. We also expect about 7-10 billion rubles of investments from residents," Andrei Sanosyan said. According to the Director General, the main specialization of the new park will be agro-processing. "We are negotiating with investors to build grain hubs, and we expect that not only wheat from Tyumen region will be the raw material for future residents of the agro-industrial park, we will be in active dialogue with our neighboring regions," he said.
Three parks were opened in Tyumen region in 2016: an industrial and logistics park in Tyumen, as well as parks in the towns of Borovsk and Bogandinsky. Residents of such sites can take a land plot for rent at a price of 100 to 300 rubles ($ 1.74 - 5.22) per month per hectare, all networks and roads are free of charge, and regional tax preferences are provided under a separately adopted law. In total, the register of investment projects in Tyumen region includes about 500 positions with a total amount of 1.6 billion rubles ($ 27.85 million). It is assumed that their implementation will create about 43 thousand jobs.
