Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development to think over state support to agricultural producers, which restore the fertility of long unused agricultural lands, according to the government website.
"The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia (A.Tkachev), the Ministry of Finance of Russia (A.Siluanov) and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia (M.Oreshkin) should consider providing state support to agricultural producers carrying out measures to restore soil fertility of agricultural lands that they were not used for agricultural production for a long time, and to report to the government of the Russian Federation by February 27, 2018," the list of instructions says.
