Three batches of wheat rejected by Omsk experts

Specialists of the Laboratory of quality and safety of products of animal and vegetable origin, feed and environmental objects of the Omsk Reference Center (part of the Omsk Bioklaster) found three samples of soft wheat inappropriate. One wheat sample contained an increased moisture content, while the other two batches were infected with a tick.

Humidity is the most important indicator of grain quality. It characterizes the amount of nutrients in the grain, as well as its suitability for storage and processing. Contamination of grain with granary pests is observed under unfavorable storage conditions in unprepared and non-infected containers, in grains not brought to storage-resistant condition.
