Omsk cultivator in the Altai fields

May 21, at the Studenov Farm (Klyuchi village, Klyuchyovsky district, Altai Territory), the specialists of Omsk Experimental Plant FSUE (member of Omsky Biocluster) launched a complex for the application of mineral fertilizers, together with the pilot model of KVU-12 cultivator.

The Omsk complex simultaneously with the soil treatment implements mineral fertilizers from 6 to 16 cm. Fertilizers are pneumatically applied to each cultivator's working part, thus ensuring their uniform application over the entire processing width. This complex is designed to work with tractors of the 7th class and above, the working width is 12 m. The prototype KVU-12 on the basis of approbation in the Studenov Farm received from the specialists of the Farm a high evaluation of the work. At present, the unit is being field tested, after which it is planned to be put into serial production.
