Fat-and-oil companies reported that they are ready to provide export volumes of products for $ 6.9B by 2024, which is about 80% of the industry targets. In relation to 2017, exports will increase by almost 2.7 times, to $ 8.6B.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut discussed the issue of achieving the target volumes of exports of agricultural products at a meeting with the largest manufacturers of oil and fat products. She noted that the Ministry of Agriculture will develop optimal support measures to ensure that the goals set in the field of increasing exports are met. Also, according to her, the Ministry considers it necessary to distribute this task not only among the Russian regions, but also among the key manufacturers.
The agenda also included the issues of providing companies with a raw material base, increasing the capacity of export logistics infrastructure, and removing barriers in key sales markets.
