The prevailing weather conditions contribute to the growth of the forecast values of grain harvest in Russia.
Thus, Vladimir Petrichenko, CEO of ProZerno company, raised the forecast of gross yield to 130.8 million tons (from 129.5 million tons), of which the wheat harvest should reach 82.3 million tons. The Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) has increased the yield estimate to 126.7 million tons (from 125.7 million tons), including wheat - to 81 million tons (from 80.6 million tons). Rusagrotrans JSC also does not exclude the forecasts revision. Now the analytical center estimates are 125.5 million tons in gross yield and 80.4 million tons in wheat. The Ministry of Agriculture keeps the forecast for the grain harvest this year at 118 million tons (including 75 million tons of wheat) made in February.
