In January-April of the current year, the production of pigs for slaughter in live weight in agricultural organizations amounted to 1.38 million tons, which is 7.5% or 96,400 tons more than in the same period of 2018.
The main increase was provided by agricultural commodity producers of Belgorod, Pskov, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Chelyabinsk regions.
