Industrial greening is in the Omsky Biocluster focus

In July, a meeting of the Omsky Biocluster CEO, Dmitry Romanenko, with Vladimir Maryev, the head of the Waste and Renewable Resources Management (Research Institute Environmental Industrial Policy Center of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia), a member of the Committee on Nature Management and Ecology of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, took place.

 

The parties discussed the points of Green Industry, the development of a draft Strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions until 2050, the introduction of the practice of 'green finance' in the Russian Federation.

 

The Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko:

"Omsky Biocluster has consistently advocated the implementation of measures to reduce the burden on the environment by industrial companies. Now, Omsky Biocluster, in collaboration with the Russian Environmental Movement, the Committee for the Chemical Industry of Business Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Omsk region (Omsky Biocluster member), plans to discuss environmentalists' initiatives aimed at raising awareness of citizens about the environment and stimulating the introduction of new ecologically oriented technologies in production processes."
