On October 1, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will host a discussion on environmental education. The organizers of the event are the Committee for Nature Management and Ecology of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the International Scientific and Educational Consortium 'Staff for a Green Economy' and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. The Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko were invited as speakers of the event.
Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko:
"The Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Omsky Biocluster member) has a Committee for Nature Management and Ecology. It was formed as a response to the current business request for the Greening of Industry. As a tool to reduce the burden on the environment, we consider the system of environmental standards as a set of measures implemented by industrial companies in collaboration with authorities, the scientific and expert community, and the population. Environmental education is an integral part of environmental regional policy. That is why we supported the discussion agenda and our team takes an active part in the event."
